Thriving Communities Program (TCP)
The US DOT Thriving Communities Program (TCP) provides technical assistance, planning, and capacity building support to teams of community partners that may lack the staffing or technical expertise to scope, fund, and develop infrastructure projects that advance broader community goals.
Housing Navigator
$5 million has been allocated to provide grants to municipalities to analyze and update their land use regulations to help increase housing development opportunities.

UVLSRPC is committed to planning a transportation system that is safe, comfortable, and convenient for all modes of transportation.
Energy
Assisting municipalities with developing long-range policies to guide the future of a local and regional energy system using integrated approaches that consider both the provision of energy supplies and the role of energy efficiency in reducing demand.

The Commission provides mapping services to its 27 communities along with federal, state and local agencies and organizations.

Natural Resources
UVLSRPC works with municipalities and private entities to inventory, assess, and plan for the management of natural resources based on the goals of the community.

Clean Transportation
Emissions reductions and electrification are specified in the Regional Transportation Goals and are important for reducing air pollution and improving the health of people and natural resources throughout our region.
Broadband & Digital Equity
Business and industry rely on broadband infrastructure for many basic functions, and households gain access to a wealth of information, services, and opportunities.
Transportation Advisory Committee
The Transportation Advisory Committee provides input on transportation-related issues and needs in the region.
Brownfields
In 2023, the Regional Planning Commission was awarded a $500,000 grant from the EPA for a Brownfields Assessment Program.
Long Range Transportation Plan
Seeking to transform the Regional Transportation Goals identified in the Regional Corridor Transportation plan into specific outcomes using a “non-capital” lens.

This initiative seeks to inform and focus the rising housing efforts, in the Upper Valley and its neighboring communities.

Ten-Year Plan
Projects located on federal aid-eligible roadways are eligible for inclusion on the NH Ten-Year Transportation Improvement Program (“Ten-Year Plan”).
